This program utilizes the sport of boxing to help get our participants and their families in shape. Knights in the Ring will host boxing camps to get everyone moving. The program shows families that they do not need a ring to BOB & WEAVE!
The mentoring and character building program is for youth ages 9-17. The program helps to prepare boys for manhood by teaching them the life skills needed to become productive citizens in their communities.
Our career initiative is to help participants discover the careers they are most interested in. Participants will do self-assessments to explore their career interests and life goals. They will discover and understand the skills necessary to achieve their career goals.
Based on the student's academic strengths the program will provide academic homework labs for all participants enrolled. The homework labs will be held afterschool and on weekends and will focus on the academic cores that students need to master for high school graduation and to move on to university if they choose.
We strive to raise funds to build recreational boxing clubs for youth and provide resources to improve communities and impact the lives of children in Jamaica, the UK, Canada, and the United States.
I am driven to give young people the same opportunities I had growing up due to the generosity of strangers that helped guide me. I am here today a product of generosity, and this is why it is important for me to give back.
